Zarnish Khan, known for her acting and modeling skills, elaborated on her decision to quit the showbiz. Some time back, we had the opportunity to hear her talk about the specific purpose and dream that motivated her decision.
Zarnish Khan confessed that although she was triumphant in showbiz, there was always an itch that was not scratched. The question she had was, What was the purpose of all this glory and success? However, Zarnish could never find contentment with this fact. Eventually, with this feeling of restlessness, Zarnish and her husband decided to go on a journey to perform Umrah. It was this journey that took an unexpected turn in her life.
She spoke about not understanding people who were begging and crying in front of certain places, requesting God for yanush—forgiveness. In that period, Zarnish felt remorseful. She wished to hide from God but realized it was futile. It was during that emotional period that she had an astonishing dream. While dreaming, Zarnish encountered the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who spoke to her at length.
A part of her was astonished and even humbled at the thought of an evil person such as herself getting to have such a dream. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) instructed her to pray to God for forgiveness. When she opened her eyes, swinging back and forth was the only thing she could manage. Zarnish then proceeded to remove all her pictures and videos related to showbiz from her account after that dream.
She knew it would be a struggle for her to do so, but she prayed for the courage to do so and for a higher power to direct her path, as she had resolved never to go back into the entertainment industry. Having turned her focus to her spiritual development, Zarnish has resigned from Show Business’s fame and lights.
