Madiha Imam’s Reflections on Social Media Criticism of Her Marriage
In an episode of Faisal Qureshi’s podcast, Madiha Imam shared her experiences of receiving aggressive social media criticism soon after her marriage. Though she has not usually received such attention at the hands of her critics during her showbiz career, people mocked her husband’s appearance and also made conjectures about his background, Madiha claimed, adding that she had faced immense trolling despite repeatedly clarifying her marriage was with a Muslim man and not a Hindu.

She said that her mother had told her not to explain herself, but she could not help herself because she wanted to answer her fans. She regrets the fact that she does engage with criticism since things become worse as a result.
