Adnan Shah Tipu, a renowned senior actor, recently shared some heartfelt stories from his career. In an interview with Faisal Qureshi, Tipu spoke about his experiences in India, his cherished relationship with his daughters, and unforgettable moments with icons like Gulzar Sahib and Robert De Niro.
During the interview, Tipu recalled a meeting with the legendary poet and lyricist, Gulzar Sahib. On a trip to India for a film role, Tipu gave Gulzar Sahib a card from a Pakistani friend. Upon learning that Tipu was an actor working as the lead villain in a Mahesh Bhatt film, Gulzar expressed regret for not recognizing him earlier. He even invited Tipu for dinner, praising his artistic presence.
Tipu also reflected on his deep bond with his daughters, saying that although they scold him like a mother, their love makes him feel like the luckiest man in the world.
In another memorable moment, Tipu shared how he felt humbled when he greeted his favorite actor, Robert De Niro, at the Cannes Film Festival. Despite being told by friends that he, too, was a hero, Tipu admired De Niro from a distance.
