Emerging actress and model Hina Afridi opened up quite candidly about her career, life, and a childhood crush on Bollywood superstar Salman Khan during a recent episode of the comedy show “Mazaaq Raat.” The emerging star shared that she loved Salman Khan since childhood, used to dream about marrying him just a year ago, and now claims to have totally forgotten Salman Khan and feels no difference even if a Salman Khan film is played inside her house.

Afridi gained popularity with her roles and modeling and discussed the strength given to her by her upbringing that let her be strong, even in light of personal tragedy like her mother passing away earlier this year. She explained that her resilience stemmed from very deep roots and never allowed the extent of emotions to take over her ambition.

She humorously told me that she was born in Multan instead of Peshawar because all beauty was only born there, and some should come out of Multan, too. She confessed that she had once wanted to be a part of the Pakistan Army and had attempted some entrance tests, too.

Afridi focused on the fact that for her, acting is quite way ahead of modeling as it demands commitment and professionalism. She said that while she has experienced love in life, currently she is so career-oriented and does not have time to think about relationships. Talking about her childhood, she said that she was madly in love with Salman Khan, but nowadays there is no point even thinking about marrying him. But she accepted to work with him and said that, like most Pakistani actors, she wanted to exploit whatever chances were available in Bollywood.
