Veena Malik is indeed one of the most vibrant actors and the lively host that the industry boasts of. She recently brought out stories about the new person in her life, Shehryar Choudhary. Talking to Independent Urdu, Veena went on to reveal the way she fell in love with Shehryar, who is a Hafiz-e-Quran. “His deep religious faith was what touched my heart the most,” she pointed out.
While Shehryar has tons of sterling qualities, it was his religiosity that had become the catalyst in their relationship. Veena has also claimed that she still receives acting offers not only in Pakistan but also in India and other countries. However, currently she is in no mood to return to the entertainment industry again.
Veena went on to say that ever since she left the media glare in 2015, she dedicated all her time towards education. She did her masters in psychology and was also studying extra courses at the renowned Harvard School of Medicine. She shares with me that it was the time when depression was lingering on her side and things were quieting down for her when she started reading the Quran, and at that time, Shehryar, who has a background in Hafiz-e-Quran, entered her life.
Veena takes it that Shehryar is extremely busy but still manages time for social media to make her feel good. Fans speculate that the duo could probably look forward to a wedding soon, as Veena recently updated her Instagram bio to reflect the status ‘Shehryar’s Bandhi.’ However, the actress has not confirmed any wedding plans as of now.
Veena Malik married Asad Khattak in December 2013. She has two kids with him and made it public that she was separated from him in 2018.
